Services:

  • Chiropractic manipulation, also known as spinal manipulation or adjustment, is a hands-on technique where a chiropractor applies controlled, sudden force to a joint—most commonly in the spine—to improve alignment, mobility, and function.

    Goals and Benefits

    • Relieve pain

    • Improve joint function and range of motion

    • Reduce muscle spasms and inflammation

    • Enhance nervous system communication

    • Support healing and restore proper biomechanics

    Commonly Manipulated Areas

    • Cervical spine (neck)

    • Thoracic spine (mid-back)

    • Lumbar spine (low back)

    • Pelvis and sacroiliac joints

    • Extremity joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles)

    Techniques used

    • Diversified

    • Athrostim

    • Activator

    • Craniosacral

  • RockTape is a brand of kinesiology tape, an elastic, adhesive tape applied to the skin to support muscles and joints without restricting movement. It is commonly used in sports medicine, physical therapy, and rehabilitation to aid in performance, recovery, and injury prevention.

    RockTape works through several mechanisms:

    • Lifting the Skin:
Microscopically lifts the skin away from underlying tissues → improves lymphatic flow and circulation → reduces swelling and inflammation.

    • Neurosensory Feedback:
Stimulates skin and nerve receptors, which can reduce pain and enhance proprioception (body awareness).

    • Support Without Restriction:
Provides stability to muscles and joints while allowing full range of motion.

    Common Uses & Benefits

    • Muscle support during activity

    • Pain relief (e.g., back, knee, shoulder pain)

    • Postural correction

    • Swelling/edema reduction

    • Injury prevention and recovery

    • Enhanced athletic performance

    • Treatment of tendinopathies (e.g., Achilles, patellar)

  • Definition: IASTM is a manual therapy technique that uses specially designed tools (metal, plastic, or ceramic) to detect and treat soft tissue restrictions, such as scar tissue, myofascial adhesions, and chronic inflammation.

    How It Works

    • Mechanical Stimulation:
The instrument is stroked over the skin to apply controlled microtrauma to soft tissue → stimulates the body's inflammatory healing response.

    • Fascial Release:
Breaks down scar tissue and adhesions in muscles, tendons, and fascia → restores normal movement and tissue flexibility.

    • Neurological Effects:
Provides sensory input to help modulate pain and improve muscle recruitment.

    Benefits of IASTM

    • Increases range of motion

    • Reduces pain and stiffness

    • Accelerates tissue healing

    • Improves muscle function

    • Helps break up scar tissue

    • Non-invasive and drug-free

    Common Conditions Treated with IASTM

    • Tendinopathies:

      • Achilles tendinitis

      • Patellar tendinitis (jumper’s knee)

      • Rotator cuff tendinitis

      • Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)

    • Plantar Fasciitis

    • IT Band Syndrome

    • Shin Splints (Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome)

    • Myofascial Pain and Trigger Points

    • Scar Tissue and Adhesions:

      • Post-surgical or trauma-related

    • Muscle Strains and Tightness

    • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

    • Chronic Muscle Pain and Stiffness
